I’m Michael Knock, the founder of MK Metalcraft, a small workshop built from a career spent working with metal. After more than 30 years in engineering — welding, fabricating, and creating for aerospace, marine, and manufacturing industries — I realised my real passion has always been bringing ideas to life. I’ve built everything from air‑filtration systems for large ships to machine guards for razorblade production lines, but what drives me most is taking a sketch or concept and turning it into something real, functional, and beautifully made. In June 2026, I finally took the leap and set up MK Metalcraft to do exactly that: collaborate, design, and craft bespoke metalwork while offering expert welding services across mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminium. I have opened a small workshop in Shepperton, Surrey to offer my expertise and services, whether it's a small welding project or a larger bespoke idea that needs bringing to life.

BESPOKE FABRICATION -
I offer bespoke fabrication services. Whatever your project or idea, large or small, I aim to use my expertise and experience to turn them into reality.
MIG WELDING -
Using modern MIG welding equipment. I can weld mild steel and wrought iron. Perfect for projects like gates and railings, frame work, garden features and structures.
TIG WELDING -
This more specialised form of welding can be used on stainless steel, mild steel and aluminium. Perfect for more intricate or fine limit projects or when visuals are important.
CODED TIG WELDING -
I offer coded welding service in stainless steel and aluminium when certification is needed.
